Air Carrier Access Act - Mobility Aids and Assistive Devices

To the extent consistent with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) safety regulations, the Air Carrier Access Act and the Air Carrier Access Rules of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) permit passengers to bring on board and use ventilators and respirators powered by non-spillable batteries.

Deceptive Advertising and the Lanham Act

The Lanham Act is a federal law that permits a business to sue its competitor for deceptive advertising. The Act prohibits false or misleading commercial advertising that misrepresents the nature, characteristics, qualities, or geographic origin of goods, services, or commercial activities.
